About the charity
Brains Matter provides services to adults who have been affected by brain injury, either as a result of an accident or illness such as a stroke, brain tumour or haemorrhage and also supports families, carers and professionals.
What our donation will help fund
For a small charity such as Brains Matter this donation will make a huge difference. It will allow us to buy new equipment and arts and craft materials so that we can provide a wider range of activities and day trips that will not only fun but also help with clients’ neurorehabilitation and fine motor skills.
Some of this donation will also go towards the setting up of a new drop in and support service for younger people who have suffered a brain injury as no such service currently exists in West Kent.
