About the charity
Our charity youth club is a vital part of our village community, offering a safe and welcoming environment for the young people of Henfield and surrounding areas to extend their knowledge, confidence and education in a safe space.
What our donation will help fund
It is difficult to put into words the difference this grant will make to our centre and the young people who rely on us. With the cost-of-living crisis and ever-rising energy bills, this vital funding will allow us to continue to offer a wide variety of fun and educational activities for our users whilst also giving us the breathing space to offer some new and exciting sessions.
We plan to use some of the grant towards new weekly sessions in the New Year to broaden our audience and encourage more young people to further develop their social and educational skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It is important to us that we are able to offer our local youths the same opportunities as those living in more urban areas, and this fund will enable us to achieve this goal.
