About the Charity
Senior Staffy Club rescues and re-homes staffies and staffy cross dogs over the age of 7, which helps those dogs who find themselves homeless in their old age and also owners who for whatever reason have to give up their dogs.
What our donation will help fund
This donation will enable us to provide the veterinary care currently needed by one of our dogs, Mitzi, who came in recently. She needs an (expensive) operation to remove some mammary lumps that could turn malignant, and also dental work to remove some rotten teeth. This will be a very large bill in total.
Our vet bills are higher than those of most rescues because our dogs are older; last year our vet bills were £39,000; this year so far, with cost increases, they have already gone over £36,000.
