About the Charity
We are a wildlife rescue specialising in foxes based in the North West, helping with sick/injured foxes throughout West Yorkshire/North West/West Midlands areas of the country as well as providing rehabilitation and release programmes for orphaned and abandoned fox cubs.
What our donation will help fund
The donation of £1,000 will make a huge difference to us as we enter the cub season 2024, where we can expect upwards of 40 orphaned cubs to care for until their release via a soft release back into the wild around September.
With a lot of mouths to feed comes a lot of spending money on food, and so the money will help towards keeping their tummies full. The money will also go towards our general running costs of helping sick and injured foxes throughout the North-West and West Midlands area in which we put out traps to take in ones in need of urgent help suffering from mange or physical injuries. Vet fees as well as fuel costs are a particularly large overhead for us, and the money awarded will go a long way to help us stay on top of these expenditures.
“The one thousand pounds generously awarded to us by the Movement for Good Programme will ease some of the pressure off us financially as we enter this year’s cub season, as we are anticipating upwards of 40 abandoned and orphaned fox cubs, who will be in our care up until their release around September, and so the money will be used towards their upkeep.”
