About the Charity
Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue is the primary search resource for Thames Valley Police in Berkshire.
What our donation will help fund
This important donation will provide our new recruits with protective helmets and their Team distinctive red anoraks. Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue currently has 14 new recruits in Training who are in the middle of their 8 month training programme. Whilst our members provide most of their own equipment, the Team provide a Manta safety helmet with built-in safety glasses and an all-weather anorak.

We ask a lot of our volunteers to respond to calls to search for high risk vulnerable missing persons at all times of the day and night in all weathers, this donation is vital in keeping the team operational and able to respond 24/7 365 days of the year.”
