What our grant will help to fund

VOICEBOX is on a mission to create change through its activities and provide opportunities for all young people aged 18 – 30 to share in the joy and transformative power of arts and culture.

Since its launch in 2021, we have worked with young people from our local community alongside nationally recognised artists, creatives and changemakers to platform big ideas, spotlight talent and provide opportunities to engage with decision-makers on topics of importance to young people. By increasing our capacity for engagement, this funding will enable us to strengthen links across the VOICEBOX community, connect and create with more young people, including those from marginalised groups, and further our commitment to accessibility, both in-person and across our digital channels.

“VOICEBOX truly gives me the chance to be heard and respected when I share my thoughts and ideas. I can’t name many other platforms similar to VOICEBOX, as it is so unique and rare, which is what makes it so important to young people like me. I don’t get the opportunity to voice my opinions and concerns on the issues that are affecting young people as often as I’d like to, but VOICEBOX offers that and more.”
