About the Charity
The East London School of Music (ELSOM) is a small, independent charity that provides classical music education to young people in some of the most deprived areas of the UK.
What our donation will help fund
The purchase of musical instruments to loan to students who cannot afford to purchase their own. To help disadvantaged students pay for exam fees and tuition fees. We are a very proactive school and host various concerts and projects each year.
The donation will also help us pay for additional time of instrumental tutors who are involved in music projects and workshops. We get a number of children and young people who sign up for our workshops, therefore we need adequate staffing to support the numbers.
