About the Charity

Our charity provides forever homes to unwanted or mis treated exotic animals, and helps to educate the public about conservation.

What our donation will help fund

This donation will cover our electric costs for two weeks, helping to ensure our animals are warm and cosy through the winter. This is the hardest time of year for the sanctuary with heating costs at their highest and income at its lowest. Many of the species we care for, such as primates, must have special lighting to keep them healthy and must be kept warm.

This donation will ensure we can provide this essential provision and allow us to continue to look after our wonderful residents, many of whom deserve to be warm and comfy in their twilight years.

“Our charity has been rescuing and rehoming exotic animals and birds of prey for over 30 years. We  currently care for 150 residents, including birds, mammals and reptiles. The grant will ensure we can keep those that require heating, warm through the winter.”
