Glasgow Eco Trust delivers community-led climate action in west Glasgow to benefit people, place and planet.
What our donation will help fund
This £5,000 Movement for Good Award will help support Glasgow Eco Trust’s community-led climate action work in west Glasgow to benefit people, place and planet. The funding will help support our work on active travel and sustainable transport to encourage and enable more people to choose walking, wheeling and cycling and sustainable transport for everyday journeys in our local communities.
This will help improve people’s mental and physical health, reduce air pollution and make our communities more resilient. The £5,000 will also be added to our #GET23in23 fundraising campaign where we are aiming to raise £23,000 in 2023 – we have raised over £14,000 – and we will be able to use it as match funding to help secure other funding.
