About the charity
Glasgow’s Golden Generation is the city’s leading charity for the elderly, providing support to lonely and isolated older adults through their two-day care centres, welfare advice, befriending service, club support, and digital support.
What our donation will help fund
The donation will help us to continue to be there for older adults in Glasgow. It will help with the running costs of our day centres, a place where older adults are picked up from their home and come and spend the day with us, getting breakfast and a three-course lunch. There are activities throughout the day, including bingo, armchair exercises, reminiscing activities and there are often performers such as singers who come into entertain our service users.
