About the charity
Our aim is to relieve pain and suffering in animals particularly horses and ponies by providing ample love and care including veterinary care when required in order to be able to find them a new home when recovered.
What our donation will help fund
With the current cost of living and fall in donations, this £1,000 award will go towards our vet and feed costs. Our animals welfare is paramount and these two costs are ongoing all year round. With the current high temperatures, we will need to buy in hay whilst the grass is not growing to prepare for the winter months.
Since we gained charity status in 2013, we have rescued 246 horses and over 350 small animals in that time. The charity specialises in geriatrics and has an outstanding success rate with emaciated animals, offering intensive 24/7 care.
