About the Charity
Northumberland Dog Rescue: We Rescue Rehabilitate and Rehome homeless and needy dogs from Berwick to Newcastle.
What our donation will help fund
The donation we’ve received from The Benefact Group will allow us to care for the most needy dogs throughout Northumberland, dogs that have had their lives turned upside down through no fault of their own. It will allow us to provide veterinary care, feed, and keep warm those dogs until we can find them a new loving forever home.
“We accept dogs from all sources, family pets where the families situation has changed meaning they can’t care for their dog anymore, from the council dog welfare teams and even from other rescue centres who can’t provide the care needed for individual dogs. We don’t receive any government or council funding so donations like this from the Benefact Group are our only means of continuing what is sadly, our never ending work with the homeless dogs of Northumberland.”
