About the Charity
One Big Family is a charity who support homeless and vulnerably housed people by means of supported accommodation, soup kitchen, homeless Emergency Winter Refuge, street outreach, food parcels, home starter packs, advocacy, and advice.
What our donation will help fund
The Movement for Good donation will help us to respond to the current cost of living crisis, which has already seen demand on some of our services increasing by 30% in the last 3 months. There is a double impact to our charity, as there has been a dramatic drop in physical donations, which has meant we are now buying items (especially food) which we could previously have expected to be donated. The £1000 donation will go a long way to helping us to continue to support some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
