About the Charity
Team Jak provide emotional, social and practical support from children and young people aged 0-25 throughout Scotland with cancer and those bereaved.
What our donation will help fund
Your generous donation of £1000 will help us fund Countdown to Christmas advent sack for 40 of our children in hospital – this includes advent calendar, card and wooden (wipeable) Christmas tree to have by their bedside. Christmas is for children and when you’re stuck in a hospital room for weeks and months on end our little Christmas trees and advent calendars brighten up a child’s day.
It allows them to have a less clinical room and creates smiles at a time of worry for them when they should be enjoying Christmas festivities. It will allow us to be able to ensure all children in paediatric oncology and haematology wards in Scotland are given a Christmas sack this Christmas.
