About the Charity
The Bevan Foundation finds out how to make Wales fairer for everyone and tells decision-makers what to do.
What our donation will help fund
The funds will enable us to find ways of helping people to cope with the current cost of living crisis. One in eight households sometimes cannot afford essentials like food and heating and rising prices are pushing some over the edge. We have already persuaded the Welsh Government, local authorities, and landlords to provide emergency help and we know they could do more.
This grant will provide much-needed help with the costs of preparing a
Cost of Living Action Plan. We will be able to listen to more people and create a ‘road map’ of practical things decision-makers can do to ensure that everyone in Wales has food, warmth and shelter this winter.
