How far will our giving go?
Sometimes it only takes a spark to ignite real change. We’d like to put that spark in the hands of the people who understand the impact of a little extra support. We’ll award £2,000 each to five charities across the UK and Ireland and ask them to Pay it Forward; each choosing the next charity to benefit from a £2,000 donation, who then choose the next, and so on, and so on.
It’s our hope that Pay it Forward builds in momentum, reaching further, finding causes and charities who can really benefit from the extra support, creating a community of giving that grows.
The second five charities
Steps to Hope SCIO
They are dedicated to fighting homelessness and addiction through charity, support groups and awareness, providing free food provisions through to residential recovery programmes.
Children’s Heartbeat Trust
Working since 1984 to provide practical, emotional and financial support, as well as funding research and campaigning for children and young people living with heart disease and their families.
Bear’s Paw It Forward
Based in Cork, they support animal rescues/shelters, (dog, cat, equine and wildlife) and organisations that support the homeless with pets across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Ben Saunders Foundation
Ben started the foundation following his own cancer diagnosis. The charity aims to offer help and support to children, young adults and their families going through their own cancer journeys.
Surf Life Saving Cornwall
Affiliated to the International Life Saving Federation, they represent voluntary members of Surf Life Saving Clubs, who patrol beaches, protect the beach environment and save lives.
